I had this idea like 10 years ago to chop up one of George Carlin's classic routines and put together a song by writing his statements into my verses.
finally, a few months ago I was going through folders of very old beats and came across this one and I instantly thought man this would be perfect for that Carlin joint! I had just a few lines jotted down, but I burned one, sat down, and knocked this sucker out in a few hours. Unfortunately, I do not know who produced this beat, but it was given to me over the course of the last decade.
I had Dj Mahf drop some samples and scratches on it and gave it to Matthew Sawicki of Suburban Pro studios to put on the finishing touches and voila!
This shit makes me proud to be alive!
You can find this single on the new Jim's Pool Room Records release, "The Capolation", a collection of some of St. Louis' top Hip-Hop artists, from vets to up and comers, all assembled by the homie CAPO!
